  • Background
I have 30 years’ experience working in education, including roles in teaching and senior leadership in schools, and in school improvement for local authorities, regional government and education charities.

I currently have a varied portfolio as an education consultant, bringing a wealth of expertise and passion for students and staff to learn and thrive within happy, successful, dynamic learning environments. Working as a freelance consultant with the Health Education Partnership (HEP), Young Enterprise (YE), and MindUP (The Goldie Hawn Foundation), I support schools with Mental Health and Emotional Wellbeing, PSHEe, Neuroscience, Mindfulness, Positive Psychology and Healthy Schools Programmes.

I originally trained in Protective Behaviours 15 years ago as part of my work in healthy schools and wellbeing programmes, supporting schools to develop their own protective behaviours practice. I am accredited as a qualified Protective Behaviours Co-Trainer, having completed the PBTP Train the Trainer process, under the supervision and mentoring of Sally Ann Hart, a highly experienced and skilled Protective Behaviours trainer.
